Luckily I had a few people to photograph for my report today. It’s always a roll of the dice when we get onshore winds, which doesn’t happen all too often here.

Actually it’s days like this, I think, that help remind us of how lucky we are to have 300+ days of offshore and good to excellent conditions so often.

John, over it, but not ungrateful for it. He surfs in pretty much any conditions out here. As they say…. one man leaveth…

Another man cometh.

The lighting was about as crispy as it gets. Not to mention the water color when these winds blow onshore become super crazy vibrant blue and visibility super clear.

Still some size. See the guy on the far left.

Schralping on a day like today completely shows your surfing ability or lack of. This guy was shining like a diamond in the rough.

The northern peaks weren’t happening. Nada!!!

Tony, also over these onshore winds, coming down with his own methods to try and maybe combat this revers air flow. Make it offshore buddy…. DO EEET!!!!

Hows that aquarium looking water, eh????

Tony the Tiger, making the crappy surf conditions look GREEAAAAAT!!!!!

Ripping buddy!

I have a pretty good feeling these guys are gonna maybe score today.

It looks like the winds will be sticking around for a little while, so now’s a great time to get out there and do some exploring and checking out some of the other beautiful sights and flavors of Nicaragua. There’s an abundance of so many other things to do and see here, so don’t hesitate to let us guide you in the right direction for a little get-a-way while you’re on your Nica get-a-way. We had some fun chest peeling mainly peeling right and a few good lefts as well.

Hello everyone, this is Baldo with Thursday’s surf report from Santana beach. The waves were chest high on the sets, it was peaky and the water was nice. A couple of feet bigger and it would have been perfect. As you might already know, here in Nicaragua we are spoiled little brats crying for the..
