Hey everyone! Thursday surf report from Colorados coming your way. The waves were mellow again today, but there was still some shredding going down.
This bodyboarder was on a tear today! He’s working on his stall technique for barrel riding in case we get a little bump in the swell in the coming days.
This local fella laid it all out on this backside hack. I think he’s a friend of Jackson’s as that’s one of Jackson’s boards haha
I bet the bodyboarder form earlier was loving the vision here! He might’ve been one of the only people in the lineup who could’ve fit into this mini-drainer.
This guy opted for max style on this crispy clean right. Instead of dropping his back knee super duper low, he decided to tilt his head sideways toward the lip in an effort to find some shade.
Skkrrrrttt! He raced out of his brief moment of shade then laid back to chuck some buckets and wipe some speed off.
Hey now, what do we have here?! The boogeyboarder is literally boogying on this left! It’s not uncommon to see adult bodyboarders stand on their front foot and drop their back knee, but this guy actually popped all the way up haha! I hope he’s ready to slide!
This guy put this frothy section to work with a quick frontside chop-hop spinner. Let no section go to waste!
During the middle of my photo session there was a couple of good sets that rolled through and gave the surfers a shot at some tubes. This guy’s got a compact posture, he’s in a brace position and is ready to bust through the lip to exit if he has to.
How clean is this one? The lip is doing an excellent job of concealing the lucky rider on this right.
Here’s our compact rider again. I think his form is even cooler here. He’s so low that his front foot literally on its side! I wonder if he practices Jiu-jitsu or martial arts.
This local fella from Gigante was out getting on rail to represent for the long boarders today. He’s on a pretty big board, so it would be no joke to push through a turn like this!
I almost wonder if this guy is related to Jackson. His surfing resembles Jackson’s awfully closely. This lip has no clue what’s about to hit it!
Shwappah! I think this guy wanted to make his own wave here. He’s getting a front row seat of his fan of spray, so he succeeded!
Hoooweee! It was a hot one out there today. The UV definitely would’ve been up there. This bodyboarder definitely made the right call to wear a comfortable yet protective long-sleeve hoodie rash guard. That wraps up today’s surf action and tomorrow looks like it should be similar, so we can’t complain. Small and clean, yet rippable!

Buenas tardes mis amigos! Happy Wednesday. It’s that hump day and we’re all really hoping that we will be literally over that hump of these past few days of onshore winds that’s supposed to turn back around inn the next couple days. Until then, it was a search and try and find mission all day..
Hola & Happy Tuesday friends! Little dip in swell today, but it was still fun out there and the weather has continued to not disappoint after coming off of a lot of days of back to back rains and grey cloudy skies. So all in all it’s safe to say…. today was a good day!
