Somewhere in Nicaragua
We sticked around San Juan del Sur area for today’s report, and this is what we found. Shoulder high waves rolling in, onshore winds and sweet water temperature. Check it out!!!
There were only 4 or 5 guys out the whole time we were at the beach today. No crowds around!
A few guys were having a good time on their backhand. Dropping in!
Julio El Pinky Cortez was the only local surfer out. Check him out doing his best on this mushy one!
The lineup wasn’t busy at all, so there were some nice ones rolling in with no takers. This one for you Borrador!

The bet of the year got Lucha Libre growing his hair for one year, for $100. It’s been already 8 1/2 months and this is how is looking. Get the cash ready Quesitos!

No, this isn’t a new surf discovery in Nicaragua. It’s one of the near-shore islands off of Padang, Sumatra. I took the shot out the window of my airplane yesterday.
