I decided to start up at the point. Didn’t expect to see too much happening, but…

there were some fun little mini teepees coming in with only one person out. Looks kinda glassy too!

Looking a little further down the other way, I spotted a few little peaks coming in, so I figured I’d go investigate a little more.

Ooopsy!! The roads are pretty muddy from all the rain we’ve been getting here and there, so I figured, oh man this guy must have slid off the road; but with a closer look I realized the entire front wheel came off, lug nuts, the rods and all, completely broken off!!! Turns out it’s one of my good friends here and man do I feel bad for his predicament. The things we can easily take for granted here, like calling AAA at a moments notice, for such an incident to have happen. I’m just super gratefully my amigo wasn’t heading to Managua going 60 mph and had this happen then! The outcome would have definitely been a lot worse!

HotSticks was cruising by doing his morning duties and pulled over to access the situation with us. Hey Parker, you know most car washes have a 24 hour rain guarantee. (haha) just another thing we take for granted from the EE.UU.!

After making sure my buddy was ok, I decided to treck on a little future to peek through one of my favorite check out spots. Hmmm… looks like we’re getting warmer!

Ahhhhhaaaaa! We found some gold for todays report! Not a bad thing to roll up to on a fine drizzling Sunday morning.

Even better is when you see this right as you walk out on to the playa. Dude’s getting a little shack-a-lacka action!

These amigos we’re more than likely even more stoked than I, after seeing a couple of them sets roll through too.

The winds were trying to switch and some side shores started to ensue, thus causing a little more texture; but still super rippable.

I only saw one dama making her way out, but she gave me a warm friendly smile and wave, confirming that it was in fact a Sunday Funday regardless of the sunny weather.

There were some people out just shredding. I’m sure it helps when you’re wave count is relatively high with only a few people out to share the lineup with.

My new amiga friend was showing the dudes a little competition out there as well!

I love when you see people out there pushing each other to push their lever of surfing. Sure makes my job a lot easier, that’s for sure!

Like this dude putting it all on the line with this sick floater. That’s a pretty committed move there amigo!

We even have some sorta famous surfers who come through here on occasion, even in the slower parts of the season. I’ll give you a hint, his name kinda rhymes with Horchada! (I said kinda – haha, sorry that’s a tough one to find a word that ryhmes with)All in all, I’d say today was a pretty successful little stealth surf report trip around our little jungle paradise today. Hoping all you amigos have a great week ahead and look forward to seeing/sharing with what comes through this week. !Hasta la próxima vez que nos encontremos!! ~
