OK, we’ve got a possible clearing trend developing. We’ve still got chest high junk in SJDS, and the beaches are a mess from all the rain. Here is Lester, making the most of it.

On a serious note – Kambute – good friend and captain of the Dirty Sanchez had a bad accident last night. He wanted me to tell everyone it was a shark attack at Colorado to help thin out the crowds, but it wasn’t. It was a bar fight here in San Juan Del Sur. He punched through a glass window and a giant shard fell down on his bicep, cutting everything down to the bone. Really, he cut 3 veins, a tendon and almost his whole bicep. It was gruesome to say the least. The good news is that after 50+ stitches, he is recovering in the Rivas hospital. The bad news is that he’s out of commission for the foreseeable future – at least a couple of months. Heal up fast my friend – we need you back in action.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were about the same size as yesterday, maybe a touch smaller. The wind was offshore and favorable all day. I took pictures around mid-day, so the sun was blazing and crowd was light.
Hey amigos! Josh back in town and behind the lens today and tomorrow. The waves still had size this Friday and the wind was offshore pretty much all day. The streak of consistent, quality waves continues. Aiden setting up for a big blast off the top in today’s opening frame here.
