Lesther Espinoza showcasing some graceful and smooth style on rail with Costa Rica off in the distance in the background. When the weather is very nice and the visibility is good, we can see the northern part of Costa Rica from our beach.

The water color today was out of this world… Even nicer than the crystal blue-berry Jolly-Rancher!

Lesther dominated the southern-most peak today. Every few minutes I’d look down there and see him up on a wave. There weren’t any other surfers down that close to the river-mouth so Lesther got the pick of the litter.

This chica carved this wave up! Round-the-house!

Steep and deep! This guy set himself a tall take here haha. Por la vista!

This guy has got some serious style. Look how nonchalant he is despite being relatively deep in this barrel. His relaxed and drooped lead arm in unison with his steady lower body give off an air of confidence.

If you asked me for an example of what a “snap” is in surfing, then I would refer to this image here. Textbook.

Squeeze in there amigo! Now he’s gotta drop back down lower before the lip clips his head.

Lesther didn’t show the rights any mercy down there…

Dang, this guy managed to throw spray higher than his own body height! And on a wave that’s only stomach high!

This guy weaved in and out of this little left drainer up at the north peak. One barrel today is a pretty good haul!

Lucy attacking this end section. Watch out!

Ahhh yes. It was a good day today! I was well satisfied after my surf session at mid-day.

I usually don’t consider myself a fan of surfing high-tide at Colorados, but it was just soooo rippable today. Tomorrow’s forecast looks similar to today, so I’m stoked! Check back in if you want to see more action from paradise.
RECENT REPORTS

Hello and Happy Sunday, The onshore winds continue this morning, but they’re not too strong. Waves still looking fun. @tonyzphotos reporting.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Welcome back to another day of the life in Nicaragua where currently the weather was pretty nice and sunny most of the day, but between those heavy rains we had last night and the onshore winds that are still here I wasn’t able to find any takers.

Hey there, welcome to the Monday surf report. Aside from all the rain we had the win for the day was the late afternoon light offshore and pretty much glass off session with pumping solid 4-6 foot surf! Check it out ~

Happy Sunday friends! We had a pretty mellow day around these parts. Certainly can feel the winding down of the season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the waves will come to a halt. We actually had our first international flight come in the other day, so now might be your time to start thinking about..
