You could have never imagined it looking anything like this a week ago. But alas, we’re back in ACTION!!! Hows them offshore winds???
People were literally sprinting out to the water, like this hombre!
But then again, you would be too if you saw waves like this.
Same wave, same tubo…
Still going….
Aaaand still going.
Being in the right spot meant paddling like a champion out there, because the current was super swift!!!
There was definitely some carnage!!!
Perfect green cylinder barrels running all up and down the beach.
This one actually looks eerily like the Kelly Slater Ranch left eh???
It was really hard to try and get everyone since people were taking off all over the place.
That and the low tide combined with the strong offshores occasionally made it even more difficult to see the surfers out the back dropping into some bombs.
You can’t really tell how big it was up at the reef here, but make no doubt about it… it was definitely bigger!!!
Check this guys spray off this insanely sick looking bottom turn.
There was even a little room for some performance cutbacks…
turns…
floaters…
and even some airs.
Hows this sick couple frames of my amigo Aurelio pulling into this beast of a cavern!
Setting up for some perfect tube time.
Today was an absolute barrel fest!!!!
These are the kinds of days that make this place world class. If you were out there today and scored, super stoked for you! Tomorrow is supposed to be even better!!! See ya out there!!! RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but the morning window was favorable with the tide. Good for cruisin’!
