I have to say that, what a great season it was though! I have seen countless days where this place was never short of plenty of surfers, families, volleyball aficionados and beach goers of all shapes and sizes gracing this little stretch of beach.
A clear contrast of beautiful perfect waves with lots of frothing surfers out, to now this. But don’t be fooled… you might see some last ditch effort epic-ness for one last Hoorawww with the swell that’s heading our way for the early part of October.
Although Pili’s is officially closed for the next month, the beach bar will remain open with the new hours of 10am-6pm everyday. You can still come down for a cocktail or smoothy anytime between those hours if you’re here… and don’t forget there are other restaurant options around here as well, Like Don Eloys, Vana Tacos, or Casa Madera’s & Anana’s.
This is the perfect time for locals to get in some much deserved vacation time after a very busy and long peak season! Rest up, but hurry back so I can have my favorite salad soon!!
Since no-one seemed to be out surfing. I would assume everyone is a little “partied out” from the end of the season 70’s get together in Gigante last night.
Waves looked the same up this way too.
Then I looked a little closer and I saw this… one lone surfer out there dodging the wind blown waves, looking for a decent peak.
Yes! I was stoked not only for this guy to catch some waves, but I actually had a “surfer” to shoot today.
I’ve never not had at least 1 surfer to shoot.
Let’s see how the next couple of months go… maybe I can keep my record until New years.
Breaking away for a moment, lets check in and see what’s been going on with the Va Pue (aka Surfari Charters)…
Looks like Lance and Co. are back at it landing some more serious sea monsters!
Remember folks, this place has so many other things to do to keep you busy.
If you wanna score some of the best ocean fishing of your life, let us get you dialed in with the Surfari Charters Crew. You won’t be disappointed!
You might even get that celebratory Toña “Bro” hose down!! But you have to land a beast before any Toña to go un-drank for this kind of celebration! You Gotta Earn It!!! Like this guy here.
Fishing is a way of life. Ok mi amigos. Pretty short and sweet report, but we’ll always continue to keep bringing you the action here in southern Nicaragua. So check back daily to see the happenings here, be it sunny, rainy, onshore, offshore, busy or not so busy; we’re here to give you a corridor to the place you would rather be, that is until you can return! Hope to see you soon!! Cheers ~
