Today D-lite got in the water for the first time in almost one month. He was a little rusty but it shouldn’t be long before he’s back in form. He’s hoping to get some good waves and not sit inside the whole month because of rain.
Enka has improved her surfing skills quite a bit since she has been in Nicaragua. She broke her favorite surf board the other day so now she is forced to ride her backup. Here she is with one of the nicer set waves of the day.
We rarely get pictures of this local kid but today was his lucky day. His name is Carlos “La Guavinita Blanca” and we are glad to have a picture of him that we could post.
When the waves are not that great we like to experiment with our photo shop programs to see if we can come up with something interesting. We played around with a bunch of them and we chose this one. Check back tomorrow.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but the morning window was favorable with the tide. Good for cruisin’!
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Welcome to the Sunday surf report for the first day of October here in SJDS Nicaragua. Actually, the waves are small today so after a generous invite from our friends on the “Showtime”, we had the choice to go grovel or go fishing. Hmmm, decisions, decisions…
Torneo de Pangas took place today. We drafted an all star team to man the Dirty Sanchez for today’s tournament – Myself, Richard, owner of Ricardo’s Bar, Alvaro, 1st mate of the Man Ray and Roberto, official photographer. Yes, we started the day with high hopes and headed out into a dain bramaging 5’+ windswell..
