It took about 10 of us to get her back up. She was fairly thrashed, but nothing that can’t be fixed. Brand new Yahama’s…damn.
But we weren’t the only ones to take it on the chin. Two other pangas went down last night. This is my neighbor Fidel’s boat with the DS in the background.
They even lost another big fishing boat. Here it is washed up on the beach.
So, we got her up, lifted her out of the water and have already begun the reparation process. It will take a little while, but we’ll get her back in the water.
At least we have good support from Yahama and Casa Pellas. These guys came out the same day and have already broken down and flushed out the motors. We’ve got our fingres crossed, but they are insisting they will be ok.
So there were some waves today. Not very good, but people were surfing. Here is a shot from the bay.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
