Somewhere in Nicaragua
Aloha and Happy Monday surfing amigos! Got up and out there early this morning to find nice clean buttery conditions with some head high and the occasional bigger sets. Not a bad way to start off your Monday ehhh?!?!
Buzz coming around the corner, well more like flying around the corner on this chunky big ol’ wall.
Did you know that “North Shore” the movie came out in 1987, which was 32 years ago (wow I feel old just saying that) but Johnny here could be the modern Rick Cane, although about a foot taller than him… hmm so actually he’s about the size of Laird Hamilton when he was around 18. Ok, so maybe Johnny is really a young Lance Burkhart, but a really cool Lance Burkhart
Scott would be the Bigger older version of him then, I guess. Either way, check out this man fan he’s projecting on this little 3 footer.
Justin’s here for a couple more days, but his heart is filled with plenty of Nica to last him until his next trip back, which will be soon!
Small here doesn’t always mean weak and less energy. 3-4 can pack a good little punch!
But toying around in this size at the break is fun as hell!
Schralping season runs all year here. Once this place shuts down in a couple more months, everyone will move on up to the reef. Then it will be all SCHRALP business!!!
Antonella is making every single session and day count before she heads out. Ripping chica!!!!

Do you remember those funky mint candies always around the holidays, well doesn’t this wave sorta look like one of those?? This wave almost looks like it smells MINTY!
