This was Tony’s very first wave of many today. The conditions stayed like this for pretty much all morning into the early afternoon.
The winds barely slightly offshore, so if you were on it, you pretty much scored one of the best glassiest days of the year.
I can’t move forward with the report without giving a big shout out to this BIG GUY!!! Mr. Dallas
Feliz cumpleaños you LEGEND!!
When I said it was glassy, I wasn’t over exaggerating by any means either.
Without any winds, it was super hot out there today too!
Sam, a new friend I made who’s been visiting for a couple days from Costa Rica has been running marathon 3-4 hours sessions a couple times a day. This wasn’t his first rodeo here, so he’s got the place pretty wired.
Chris tucking into what I imagine looks very similar to a wave he probably surfs back home in Miami.
Rutci, enjoying and partaking in one of the best times to be here in Nicaragua during the year.
Now that most of the surfing crowds have come and gone, I can say safely say that the lineup had only about 3 maybe 4 tourists type surfers whereas everyone else was a Nica local or local expat.
Two of may favorite surfers and all around good dudes!
Papa Dan, much like me love this time of year to surf because we’re too old paddle battle anyone anymore. So it’s Waves O’ plenty for guys like us!
John on the other hand is young, fit and surfs all day long, so he catches as many waves as his teenage arms will allow. Oh and he surfs pretty darn good too!
I haven’t had a mystery barrel surfer for a while now, so here ya go!
Fun mellow vibe out there today with plenty of waves for everyone.
We’re supposed to be getting some possible serious weather around the 14th coming up, so if we can have a repeat of today again tomorrow, I wouldn’t complain one bit! Let see how it goes…. See ya down there. Cheers ~
