Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hello everybody. The onshore wind arrive and a little swell come too. Overhead waves and clear water with some good peaky wave. Check it out.
The right have short shoulder and perfect speed for splash in the top of the wave. The tide coming up is the best time to surf.
Some heavy left were surprising the crowd. Hopefully in the sunset time, when the high tide is complete, the wave will be better.
Lester and Carlos are the best local surfers around right now. Sloppy conditions usually means they’ll be putting on an air show.
This girl wasn’t sweating the conditions either. Today was the first day the wind never went offshore.
Today was a really hot day. Sometimes it’s just nice to be in the water.
If you came from Florida, you grew up on waves like this (only smaller and much worse).
We’re hoping for some cleaner swell tomorrow and for the Oakley Surf Shop Challenge coming up in a couple of days. No matter what happens, it’s sure to be a great time and a total shred-fest. Thanks for checking in with us, stay tuned for coverage of the upcoming event. A and T are out.

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.

Hola amigos! Brian here, bringing you the report here on another beautiful day in October. Well the surf is smaller but still super fun, waist to chest high and a few plus peaks, and steady offshore winds. What more could you ask for ?!? Usually this time of year is pouring rain and onshore winds..
Waves were firing today, THAT”S WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SAY but it wasn’t like that. A huge tropical storm it is hitting Guatemala right now and that’s making us lots of rain down here. We just had the longest rain of the year so far, more than 21 hours straight of rain made lots..
