Many of today’s surfers were keen on manufacturing barrels, but the wind wasn’t quite cooperating.

This rider who was featured yesterday was sharp enough to realize that the easterly flow from the wind was favorable for airs (particularly on the rights).

This guy managed to find an open tube, but unfortunately it engulfed him. You take what you can get though!

This lips had a “chippy” coping shape today, which made for many good fin-blasts.

Rasta-man roundhouse!

I saw more surfers out this morning than any other day in the past week or so. Looks like everyone’s managed to find their way to the beach after the rain and onshores stopped.

Bunny-hop boost! I like the creativity from this surfer.

I got confused seeing this regular footer during this snap. His red rails and technique led me to believe it was Lesther for a moment, but not quite. Looks like Lesther is starting a red rail trend haha!

Full speed and flow into a critical end section. I like that this guy didn’t go for a more conservative move. Go big or go home!

The only barrel that was made while I took photos was from this surfer. He was behind the curtain for a good three to four seconds. He visits here every year, so it makes sense that he had the intuition and experience to position himself for the gem of the morning.

This concludes today’s report and I hope you guys are flying into the weekend like this guy here! Thanks for checking in and be sure to keep an eye on this weekend’s action as we are forecasted to get a pulse of swell.
RECENT REPORTS

Happy Sunday, we a bit of rain overnight and this morning. The winds beat up the surf a bit but the afternoon was still looking fun. @tonyzphotos reporting.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados and a mysto peak up the beach (ssshh haha). Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. I wasn’t expecting the wind to stay favorable as long as it day today, but I’m thankful it surprised to the upside.
