Somewhere in Nicaragua
Greetings from Nicaragua. We had some heavy rains last night and with it came a lot of debris washing out through both of our rivers that feed into the ocean here. The winds are sorta staring to calm down, just a little, but hopefully we’ll be back to our normal offshores again soon.
Not may people out enjoying the beach today. I checked it a few times through out the day and didn’t see anyone even attempting to surf.
Alas, I got lucky and saw two dudes about to paddle out up the beach so I jammed up to the reef.
We definitely have some good swell in the water right now.
Some fun waves to be had at the “Drops”.
We have a lot of local families here visiting for the Holiday weekend. Our beaches are a great place for locals to get away for a long weekend. Like these happy kids.
Another good thing to do since the weather has been so gloomy, stop on by our surf shop.
We have pretty much anything you can think of, whether you need a new hat, t-shirt, flip flops, you name it.
All great things to get as a gift for a family member or friend when you head home.
Back to my 2 guys having a great time on their long boards.
These guys were having a blast exchanging wave after wave.
Especially since they had the whole surf spot all to themselves.
This is one of our newest rental homes right on the beach that over looks the same waves I was shooting today. This obviously isn’t from today, BUT look at the view and look at them offshores!!! Got wood??? Looks like we’re gonna need a serious beach cleanup by the time we get finished with October and these incredible rains stop. Thanks for always stopping by. I’ll see ya back here again tomorrow.
