As we mention before the locals were the only surfers out there. Pretty much was all Carlitos and Lester. This is Lester with a small but cool slashy.
There were some decent sections to bust off and Carlitos was taking advantage on those. Check him out with a nice punt!
We’ve had some much rain in the past days, that the river can not hold it anymore. So the locals opened it today and this could be good when the winds turn back off and we get some swell.
Even the crabs are trying to stay out of the water. That’s all chocolate brown water in the background!
Carlitos with a cool layback on this mushy one. We can say that those two guys were having a good time, judging for the waves they had.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
We’ve had Lucha Libre here with the Thursday report. Today the rain finally stopped but yesterday was pouring, same as the last days. Everywhere you go, this was pretty much what you would see. People got caught trying to cross rivers, including me. I got to this river about 1:20 pm but I didn’t go..
