Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome Back, Kotter, or if you’re too young to remember that really funny hit TV show (that ran from 1975 to 1979 – I’ll give you a hint, one of the most well known actors to this day stared in it – I’ll even give you another hint, he was in Pulp Fiction and another movie that came out in 2012, that was shot (and included the beach life and scenery where I went to Art School in beautiful Laguna Beach), and if all that’s just too boring for ya’ll, well then welcome back Tuesday surf fans! Actually todays waves reminded me a lot of when I was living back in San Clemente and surfing all up and down the southern coast of Orange county!
Mr. Chris, who’s ironically not too far from where I had a lot of fun surfing memories, just a little south in San Diego, looks like he’s at a place in this photo, from his hows town, but it would be a much more mellow day than what it’s know for at Blacks Beach, here bout to get some cover up action!
Kinda had some off and on sunlight and little cloud coverage, but the cloud coverage would actually drop the super hot beach temperatures down by just a few degrees when a nice big cloud would float by covering the sun and making a little shade.
Hows this guys crazy driving down the line speed pump to hit this end closeout section with everything he had!!!
Carlitos, putting it on cruise control today as the swell dipped off quite a bit today.
But plenty of ramps, air sections and there were even a couple barrels with the smaller surf. I tell you this place never disappoints!
And neither does the crowd pleasers, ie, aka, my favorite people, YOU GUYS & GALS!!!

The conditions were pristine. And it looks like it’s forecast to be like this well into November! I think if the swells keep coming, November could be one heck of an amazing month to be down here!

Back home this would be what the “Santa Ana” or fall days would look like (very very similar!). Which I saw they just got some really nice juicy swell. Good for them!!!! Lucky for us, we don’t ever have to wait for long periods of time to get what us jaded folks would call one of their Epic days, mmmmmm, ok, or average for here!
Wrapping up, (for the both of us) him making this nice little wrap around as I turned and grabbed one last sequence before I packed up my gear and headed back into the deep jungle!
Another GREAT beach day right ladies???? Come on back tomorrow for the hump day (midweek) festivities, I need to look at the swell report and see what and when the next good pulse is supposed to come, but I know there’s more on it’s way! Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves turned on while I was shooting. There were quite a few empty barrels, but I think the window lasted no more than one hour. Grace setting up for a big drop in this opening frame.
