The swell picked up a touch since yesterday. Tomorrow might be a little bigger but it’ll still be small. Make sure you’re still managing expectations…
However, it was still a fun morning. A couple set waves surprised us around shoulder high.
Regardless of the conditions, Lesther Espinoza gets after it. Keep scrolling down to see his air!
Have you been watching Filepe Toledo’s clips bro??? Because your air game is rapidly improving.
And he goes for one more rotation!!! You’re so close so keep pushing yourself hombre!
I think everybody was a little antsy this morning. I never got this surfista’s name but he was surfing really well.
Yeah that’s right, launching off the very top of the lip is overrated… Go back to the last photo. He was only halfway up the wave.
And he was sticking those pops all session! Pass on a couple points to the locals amigo.
How many waves do you count in this photo? Five, five and a half, six? The interval is pretty low but it should pick up for the weekend (but the onshores might as well…).
Young Tyler Cooper locked into a small nugget right off the takeoff. While the period is low, you’ll find really peaky waves.
Bro, we’re sad that you’re leaving us tomorrow but we enjoyed spending the month with you! Thanks for being patient during the October onshores and small days.
Farther north, David Barr was finding longer lines. He was packing in three turns per wave.
We love it when people like him spend time with us. He’s always helping the locals and sharing the stoke with them. Although, the faces of the waves might not be too happy he’s here…
Shocker: Tony4/7 showed up for the tail end of the session (again). Let’s see what he makes of this wave.
Alright, not bad bro! I respect your fashionable tardiness.
Sorry Tony, we are all out of awards so we don’t have any signs or SURFING magazines to give you. But sick wave though!!
Carlos Perez is one local whose been on fire lately! Whether it’s small rolling surf or way overhead heavy tubes, he’s been man handling it.
Carlitos is another grom who has been logging some hours. Between work shifts, he’s slipping out for quick sessions and bashing the incoming corners.
RECENT REPORTS
Merry Christmas everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. This evening’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops. Today definitely had its moments, but the windows were difficult to hit.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hello everybody. This is the first wave I saw when I was walking to the beach. In the wave is Josh Sprienfield getting a barrel. The offshore wind was soft and the low tide have strong waves breaking in three feet shallow water. Check the action.
Hola everyone it’s looking pretty fun this morning with a bit of texture on it. The wind was blowing a bit side-shore not affecting it too much. Only a few guys on it, but plenty of waves coming through.
Hola amigos, we were planning to make it to the beach in the morning today, but it didn’t happen because it was raining. We ended up heading to the beach right before dark, still raining a bit and this is what we found. Light onshore winds, shoulder high waves on the bigger sets and murky..
