Somewhere in Nicaragua
Here is Roberto again with the surf report for today. We headed out to Maderas this morning and nobody was out. I took Luis and Codo with me and they surf by themself all the morning. It’s head high on sets and the wind is offshore.
Here is Luis La Baloy Chamorro commanding the show. He was exited beacause we have a new tournament coming soon.
This is Juan Carlos from Ometepe Island. He saw me taking pics and he immediately took his surfboard and paddle out. You are on buddy.
Here is Codo taking a nice left at Machete pt. The water is getting clear, so we’ll be diving pretty soon.
Here is La Baloy getting some air. Hey man, somebody told me that you were on party last night. Take it easy man.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s mid-afternoon surf report from Colorados. The wind came onshore mid-morning, but after a rain shower we lucked out with some still wind. It wasn’t very consistent, but the sets were sick when they came through. Look how thick the lips were on the sets / double-ups!

I woke up this morning and caught the local news which said that Hurricane Beta has been upgraded to a Category 3 storm with 115mph winds AND that it turned around and is now heading SSW TOWARDS the atlantic coast of Nicaragua. The last and only time Nicaragua was actually hit by a hurricane was..
