Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everybody, we are the NSR family bringing you the Halloween surf report. Today we went to Playa Madera to catch a couple of fun waves and then we got back to town and hang out for a while at the Happy House. It was running about waist to chest high on sets and the wind was offshore. We are starting to feel the new swell that is heading our way this weekend and hopefully we’ll score some good waves. Check it out!!!
We had lots of people out today and many beginners trying to learn how to surf. This is “La Meduza” riding a nice looking left all the way in to the beach.
Later on we decided to get some dinner and a couple of drinks at the Happy House. We had a sick Fish BBQ. Everybody was dressing up with some interesting costumes, but we didn’t have many girls staying at the hostel so a few of the guys realized that they could be chicks for a day.
Codo is missing his girlfriend “La Chompipita” a lot and tonight he thought this guy looked like her. We don’t know if he had too many drinks or if he really thought that it was her. Anyway here we have a shot of them enjoying the Halloween party.

We’ve got Roberto with the surf report for today. We still have fun swell out here at Maderas. It’s head high on sets and the wind is light offshore. We got there early in the morning and almost nobody was out. Check it out.
We woke up early this morning and headed to Maderas to check the surf. Unfortunately, when we got there we found sloppy, chest high waves and onshore winds. Not again!
