Happy Halloween everybody!!! And welcome back to the first day of the week and the last day of the month of October!!! A lot of things going on today…. but most importantly, how were the waves??? Never had a Mystery Barrel Surfer for the cover image! Well, that should give you a good insider as to how it might of been out there this morning!
Couldn’t ask for a better day to end the month with, with conditions like this!
Carlito was busting out all the moves today. Don’t worry, there’s a whole lot more of him if you’re keen on peeping everything NSR (social media and the OG report here).
It Wass small, BUT ridiculously fun out there on the super mega low tide draining out.
People were punting, carving, and believe it or not, there were some rad little super sick makable barrels.

And this. . . . . . I think there were more barrels than a wine factory in Napa Valley out there today!
And if you found yourself either coming out of one, or just finishing off on one of the many super fun pint sized waves out there this AM, you had every reason to blast a huge ripping carve like Derek’s doing here!
Mr. Chris, headed on his way out, just as I was about to head to the editing bay. And that my friends is what you would call, just another EPIC day here in Nica-Land! Sorry for the short report. Welcome to 2025 everyone! Happy New Year! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. I basically pulled an all-nighter and woke up early to surf after the late night fiesta. The lineup was empty even at 8:00am and the waves were fun. I surfed then took photos.
Happy Tuesday and the final report of 2024. It was another fun day of waist to occasionally bigger surf at Playa Colorado. Warm water, light winds, and pretty empty line up. @tonyzphotos reporting.
