PLAYA SANTANA
Hello everyone! This is Baldo back again with Monday’s Surf Report from Santana beach. The waves were great as you can see here.
Fast, hollow lefts and short, vertical rights… oh, how I missed Santana!
The local kids are definitely having a great time with no crowds, getting better and better every day.
There were only 6 surfers in the water, 4 of them were locals.
Nicolás was one of the two foreigners that were surfing today. Nicolás is the owner of Pizza Calabria, on the way to Santana beach. They just re-opened on November 1st after taking a vacation to scape the rains of October. If you are in the area go have a delicious pizza for dinner there. Tell Nicolas you saw him on the Surf Report!
Cándido Quedo wins theSurfer of the Dayprice with several massive barrels at First Peak.

… And coming out straight into a powerful snap. He has this wave all dialed up!
Here he is about to come out of another little barrel… he had to go through the curtain though.
Not just the take offs are vertical here at Santana.
Looks like the waves will continue just like today for a few more days so, check us out and enjoy the continuous show.

Hi brothers and sisters here we are in the second day of this swell. The waves are smaller than yesterday, but there are more waves, was super consistent. Here is the second wave of four in the set. Per second day the low tide was the best day to surf. Check it out.
Welcome back for another dose of our NSR surf report for Thursday. The surf was supposed to come up today but when I got to the beach it had actually dropped. There were still some waves coming in running waist to chest high and the form was beautiful.
