There were a few empty tubes still rolling through in the late afternoon. The lineup was fairly empty all day with the exception of the morning rush hours prior to 9:30am.
It was a good day to be a goofy footer. The swell had a bit more South than usual. Also, the sandbars are currently distributed such that the South peak has had the shallowest bar.
I had low expectations for the wind today, but the faces were clean all day. It’s always nice when the conditions surprise to the upside.
The waves were fast all day though. Good entry lines, clean pop-ups, and a strong opening pump were key to success.

Another rounded out carve. I was hoping for a snap, but his style was still great here.
Jackson is back in town and had a good wave count this evening. Looks like he’s still been surfing wherever he was at before coming back.
