Perfect size, shape, offshore winds, water temps… hmmm what else am I leaving out? Ohhh ya, you should have been here! Jake, stoked to be here for 3 straight months!
Today had those dreamy (like good dreams – as opposed to scary dream barrels in them).
Super playful and peaks EVERYWHERE!
Like this… exactly like this!
The hardest part about todays afternoon session was choosing whether you wanted to go left or right. Birdy here, I am almost positive he would have loved to go left on this wedging TeePee, but hey…we’ve all gotta wrk on out backhand pigdog from time to time.
I started out shooting maybe around 3-3:30 and watched as the people krept from the dense jungle backdrop.
I’d say by 4:30-5PM the crowd tippled, but that still didn’t even begin to scratch the peak season crowds we saw earlier this year.
The point being, the has been one of the funnest and consistently best season closer’s I’ve seen in years! Mr. Chris would have to agree!
Yes my friends, that velvety texture is from a little mixture of the straight offshore with a very subtle and slight side shore, but it didn’t matter one bit as the groomed conditions were about as PC as it gets!
Another one, but this guy on an emerald green left. Todays shot count was waaaaay up there. Like peak season kind of numbers. But it was so good, there just wasn’t much allowing myself to stop shooting.
Even Sophie was out there getting slotted with everyone else. Believe me when I say this gal charges, she CHARGES! She should be sponsored by Master-card! jajaja j/k Soph 😉
As that sun was setting quickly off into the far distant horizon, the backlit slashing made for some great captures before I was finally ready to soon pack it up.
Aaaaaaaand just like that, Tuesday was nothing more than a memory. A really really good memory for those who surfed out there today. Buenas noches mis amigos. RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Monday evening’s surf report from Colorados. It wasn’t as big as I was expecting, but there was still some push.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Welcome to another week from beautiful Southern Nicaragua. Looks like the rain went away but I wish I could say the same about the wind, in the mean time, it’s Volleyball time!
