The rippers from the past couple of reports were on it again today. The end-sections and lips were in for punishment.
Now for the maneuver of the day. I wasn’t expecting such an extraordinary move from such an average wave.
When I first saw him lift-off for the air, I thought he didn’t get enough of a coping, so that he would end up wheelie-ing.
Did he slip here?
That was no slip! It’s a shove-it! And a clean one at that!
The shredder managed to stick the landing, but unfortunately he came down off the back of the wave. That was very impressive though. Big props.
There were some heavy ones out there today…
Snaps were the call as the sections were steeper than yesterday.
NSR rental board looking good out there!
Not only did Mr. Blue Board get the maneuver of the day, but he also got the best barrel of the report. He had some big huevos to pull up into this beast of a right.
I was rooting for him and on the edge of my seat on the beach.
He was deep in there. I would’ve been worried about getting pounded or my board snapping at this stage of the game.
Stand tall Mr. Blue Board… You fought hard. Unfortunately the crumbly end-section collapsed and engulfed him. Something tells me he’ll be blowing some Colorados sand grains out of his nose tomorrow morning haha!
When the wind clocks around onshore, it’s time to fly high.
One last cavern to close today’s action… Boy it sure feels nice when Surfline calls for “decent” waves and it ends up being “very good”. The swell was still sticking around at sunset, so let’s see what Tony Z captures tomorrow.
RECENT REPORTS

FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hey everyone! Hereās Thursdayās surf action coming your way from Colorados. I could feel the beginning of the phase shift into dry season today. That being said there were still some fun set waves if you were patient.
Welcome to the windy Wednesday surf report. Pretty slow going out there today as those pesky onshore mixed up with some pretty strong side shore winds comingĀ out of the south were making anything out there sur-fable, well, weāll just say it looked like a lot of work; and with that said, there were only two..
