Hit it on the right tide as well as all the other people (which right now is a pretty small crowd – aka my favorite time of the year!). Riley trying to spook the fish over to his amigo who’s hand lining up some pescado for him and his family for dinner.
Chris on a super clean and excellently groomed left. Nice one hermano!
The lighting was as epically good as all the surfing going down today. The weather has been just incredible.
Jake on the opposite side of the other guy in last frame. Lefts and rights were firing!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words…. well, here’s 1000 reasons packed all into one image as to why this place is so magical!
Ricky and one of his amigos waaaaaay down the way where it’s usually big and closing out. Today was a great day to go get some banger barrel shots!
Jonaton is almost finished or should I say wrapping up his trip, like this sick wrap around. Going out with a bang and scoring some of the best waves we’ve had this whole season him and his amigo Amir.
The “Dude” aka Dudie…. Cesar surfing early today. I was so stoked to see him out, because the lighting was perfect.
And the crowd factor was low, so he was out there scoring getting some killer waves AND finally some sick photos as well!
I mean, how perfect looking is this wave Lindsey is paddling into?!??!
She was having a great time out there surfing with the perfect size and perfectly tapering A-frames. What else could you ask for on a Sunday afternoon?

Hahahaha – Yeah, both Chris and I saw it….. there was definitely some carnage out there too!
At least this hombre had the decency to wave as he took the elevator all the way down to the first floor! LOL
Timmy’s back in town and could’t have picked a better time. But then again, he’s maybe one of the planets most well traveled surfers. So can you imagine his knowledge of swell forecast reading abilities, because if you follow him@timmymissions….. EVERYWHERE he goes…. he scores!!!! Nica might just be one of his top 5 surf destinations, which would be saying A LOT!!!!

Big John agree’s 100% and that’s also why he’s back after only being gone for just a short while. Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for a few days. The swell today is the largest it has been in about two weeks. It was still slow between the sets, but there were a few one hour windows and pulses.

Happy Hump Day! Another fine day in the eleven month of 2018 here in Nica-Land. Waves were in the small to fun zone again today, but anytime you can be at the beach all day is a good day… right? Let’s see how it went.
