I’m not sure if it was the time of day or the fact I decided to head up to the reef to shoot today, but the crowd factor was super minimal.
Less than a handful of surfers out trading off waves like this.
There was actually a boat there, so maybe the surfers weren’t even from here; which makes it even less crowded for the fact that I don’t think anyone staying here was even out.
Good thing for me (and you) I guess, this way I had some people out making my job a little easier.
Mike Parise ended up paddling out. He’s a good friend of mine and has been an owner here quite a while. Good to see you out surfing buddy!
Ahhhh haaaa, so this explains where most people were probably hiding out today. Josh and John bout to go explore what’s below the waves. Hope you caught some good dinner material amigos!
Being that the crowds were so minimal and the waves were actually looking really fun, I was getting a little antsy to run and grab my board after watching the couple of people here have so much fun out there.
Even though it’ super tropical here, this photo looks like this guys carving down the face of a snowy bunny hill in the cold snow. Maybe it’s hooded rashie haha
I grew up snowboarding and surfing, so when I talk to Nicaraguana’s or Central American people in general, who have never even seen or touched real snow in their lives, it still trips me out. I think or wish everyone should get to experience the snow at least once in their lives.
This guy looks like he’s been surfing this wave a bit on his vacation, because I know exactly why he’s setting up with a little stall right here…
Yup, he knows about that little inside bowl section. Nice one homie!
Eh, check out Dario cruising down the line on that big ol’ soft top… watcha think he’s gonna next on that wave???? Any guesses before scrolling forward???
Shoot!!! If you know Dario and you guessed handstand… then I’d say you either know Dario really well, or you are a religious surf report fan and you’ve seen him do this same thing many times before. Jajaja sick maneuver D-man!
Alright, that concludes todays surf report my friends. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves this weekend. To be honest, my Monday is no different than Sunday or any other day of the week really. But I know most of you enjoy looking at our surf reports daily, be it at work or at home or on your phone while you’re in traffic on your way to work. I just want you to know I appreciate you always taking time to look and read the reports each and every day. Hope you all have a fantastic Monday. Muchísimas gracias ~
