You could take little rights for a couple of turns.
Or little lefts for longer rides.
Looks like these conditions favored fishing off the rocks… this guy came by loaded with Mackerels and Tunas.
Mike didn’t miss the opportunity to negotiate tonight’s dinner with him.
This guy wasn’t thinking about dinner, he was all focused on catching every possible wave that came near him.
And on every wave he was going for it, catching speed, making turns and trying to connect sections with big floaters like this one.
With small waves for a few continuous days, little by little the water is turning into this beautiful greenish-blueish color… and in combination with A-frame waves, the scenery is looking really nice!
All the fish that the fisherman got earlier was getting selected and weighted right on the beach.
You could buy one whole mackerel (around 5 pounds) for C$200 Cordobas, which is less than $6 dollars. You could feed 4 people easily with that… not a bad deal, right?
Here is Marlon representing the locals today. I was about to leave when he showed up so I waited until he got one wave to go back home for breakfast.
Right when I was started to walk away he managed to get another little wave and of course, I had to take a few more photos of him.
Maybe we don’t have the biggest waves right now but, the weather is super nice to be outside fishing, walking on the beach or just having a cold beer at any time of the day. Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
