Meanwhile, I found a shady spot to anchor up. Peter was finding his shade too.
Despite some past hardships, Nicaragua is a country with a lot of soul and pride. Keep your eye out (and your snapchat story) for all the decorated nooks and crannies!
And the locals respect their home and environment. Some boys from Rancho were doing their part so please do yours too and keep our beaches clean!
Some people say working in Nicaragua is super easy. My answer is that it can be really tough. Sometimes it’s torture to watch epic waves go untouched because you’re working…
That’s why “Randy Rand” starts his day off with surfing. I bet your partners are jealous now!!
Hawaii Five-Joe joined him too. There’s no greater feeling than shooting down the line backside in the tube. Yeww!! It was nice to meet y’all today!
The south peak was showing potential but never turned on. The mixing swells and direction was affecting it.
All eyes (and paws) on deck to watch what Gustavo is planning…

Because last week was so flat, it’s tough to settle for the inside gems when outside sets are coming. If you’re visiting and want a chest high wave, sit inside and clean up!
Or, you can sit super deep inside. Keep your foot on the gas and punch through!!
As the morning went on, the line up thinned out but the waves kept coming. Tell your maid that to put breakfast in the fridge and you’ll enjoy it after your session!!
La culebra found his gem. The offshores were gentle today but his turns don’t need their help! While the winds are down and the swell is here, take advantage of a boat tour.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!

Today we have a little adventure. The waves keep kinda small, so we check other beach around here. Protected for the offshore wind and clear water this beach is one of the most beautiful in all our pacific coast. Check it out.
