PLAYA SANTANA
Hola amigos de NSR, este es Baldo con el reporte de surf de hoy miércoles desde playa Santana.
Las olas estuvieron pequeñas pero tenían muy buena forma. Sólo necesitábamos unos 5 pies más grandes y hubiera sido la sesión perfecta de surf.
Aun así, los pocos surfistas de Limón que vinieron a surfear supieron aprovechar al máximo las condiciones.
Toda la playa estaba llena de pequeños picos, era sólo cuestión de estar en el lugar adecuado.
Además de pequeñas, el viento de offshore hacia difícil tomar las olas. Poco a poco la temporada de viento se acerca.
Y el viento se siente aún más fuerte en el primer pico, ya que el rio crea un tunel donde el viento viaja sin ningún obstáculo.
Algo que siempre he dicho… el viento de offshore ayuda a que el spray de cada maniobra se mire más grande.
En ésta foto se aprecia bien las condiciones de las olas el día de hoy… izquierdas largas y suaves, derechas cortas y con algo de fuerza.
El único extranjero en el agua estaba disfrutando de las izquierdas del primer pico.
Playa Santana tiene nuevo arte en la caseta, la cual fue recién pintada por la Alcaldía de Tola hace unas semanas.
Según el pronóstico, toda la semana (y seguramente la siguiente) estará entre 2 y 3 pies, estaremos pendientes a ver si aparece algún swell pronto. Saludos.

Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. Today was the tail end of the most recent swell, but this morning was also the best waves that I saw of the swell. These pictures are from mid-afternoon, just as the consistency started to decline.
