Viewer, can you see the sandy water at the bottom of this wave? That’s right, this clearly indicates that this surfer was riding over the sandbar to the North. Now you may also notice the slope of the wave-face was steep enough to permit the surfer to unleash a strong sharp turn. This is why I always try to surf at the side-peaks of Pangas on shorter gear, and longer gear at the middle deep-water rock peak.
