Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi fellas, it’s “Lucha Libre” reporting this time from San Juan del Sur, yes friends today we made it back to Maderas to take a couple photos and the Dirty Sanchez made it to the bay safe and clean. We had a long week up north but we are so happy because we found some sick waves up there.
Today we headed out to Maderas early in the morning and almost nobody was out. Here is shot of an empty wave coming through with no taker.
Here we have Renato “El Italiano Pelon” taking off on a nice left. This guy scored a couple of good waves today, so he’s stoked because we still have some swell to finish the year.
Edwin “El Tuzo” Morales is getting better and better, little by little. He’s starting to rips some bigger waves. Here he is going big on a nice set wave.
But this time he couldn’t pull over on this one. Don’t worry my friend, keep working and never give up.
This is Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila going off the top. These guys were charging during this swell and keep paddling out everyday to keep in good shape.
NSR is signing out with a cool shot. This unknown rider will be more than happy to know that he made it on NSR so if anybody knows who he is telling that he’s on today. Lucha is out!!!

Hey amigos! I’ve got another flashback surf report for this Saturday (ongoing technical difficulties). Today in 2025 the waves weren’t so bad. It was really windy, but the direction was straight offshore. It wasn’t so different from this pic from 2024 that you see here.
