Somewhere in Nicaragua
It was another Sunday Funday down at the beach today. Fun waves, fun crowds, drinks, food, beach chairs, you name it. It was all going down on this fine late morning Sunday.
Waves are still on the smaller side. But if you were out there you didn’t have to compete with very many other surfers.
This local kid was ripping catching waves all over the place.
The winds have really kicked up a few notches today. But luckily the water is still nice and warm!
This is Jett. He’s a newbie surfer grom who’s living here semi-fun time, and he’s already making pretty big claims with his surfing.
Like taking first place in his mini-grom division at the recent annual Chompipe Surf Contest back on Thanksgiving.
If there’s one thing that will boost your aspiring surfing career is an over all win in your very first surfing contest.
Jett’s already got his own surf fan team base right here in Nicaragua.
One thing’s for sure, is that if he keeps up the good work with his surfing, he’ll for sure be getting the ladies once he’s older and much bigger. For now, he’s getting all the abrazos y besos he can handle, from his #1 FAN. His mama!
Here you can see where Jett get’s his young surfing prowess… his Pops, Emiliano rips. Don’t let this little wave sway you’re thinking. I’ve seen him in the juicy stuff and he kills it! Now do those two or three more turns and go get your abrazos y besos from mama too!!! Jajajaja

Today was a really nice day to be out and in, near, or close to the surf. No matter your preference of getting wet or staying dry.
These people had the right idea finding some nice shade to stay out of the hot Nica sun.
Then there was gal….. going for the Full Full Nica Tan, sin any shade. Yo go Girl!!!
You can take the party out of certain beaches, but you can never take the party away from this guys Sunday Funday at the beach. He’s coming fully packed!
Daniel was super stoked to be out there surfing today and catching many waves he could paddle for.
He’s always super psyched anytime he see’s me with my camera pointed in his direction. Keep up the good work on your surfing practice homie!!

Hey amigos! I’ve got another flashback surf report for this Saturday (ongoing technical difficulties). Today in 2025 the waves weren’t so bad. It was really windy, but the direction was straight offshore. It wasn’t so different from this pic from 2024 that you see here.
