If you’ve been here, especially this time of year, then you know when the south swells start to take a little siesta, this is the place to head to.
It was pretty small here, so you can imagine, it’s pretty flat everywhere else. It was definitely a Log day… where catching any waves is a user friendly vibe.
Uh oh…. what’s going on here???
Looks like a friendly, little “board transfer”!!!
YES, they made it too!! Sick one guys!
All the colorful things were making their way out from the jungle today.
This reef setup makes for some potentially long rides, especially if you connect one from the far outside all the way into the inside bowl area and then to the sand if you’re lucky.
Antonella was the only one sticking with her shortboard. Looks like she was doing just fine, considering the small swell we have.
Tati opted for the funboard… looks like she’s having one heck of a FUN time, eh!!!
The entire lineup (of people) in one photo. This is for the entire bay, btw. Not a bad crowd ratio.
Oscar, taking off on a solid shoulder high beauty of a green left.
Get up to that nose hermano!!! You got it!!!
Domonique from Rancho Santana, looks like she made it down for her lunch break surf session as well.
The winds have really switched gears too. I guess, like clock work, we can expect the water to go from nice and warm to chili pretty soon… UGH! I hate 68 degree water… I know, I’m a WUSS!!!
See how much winds catching under Dario’s board…. yah, these aren’t even those devil 50mph winds…. YET!!
Antonella, taking off on a little aqua blue sea monster, showing a little teeth too! Its small, but this wave always packs a fun little punch!
The camaraderie here is always happening, especially in the lineup. Tati, giving Terra a friendly little “Push-in”.
If the face doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what other outdoor activity brings more happiness than surfing.
Tati gets 100 points for steeze’n’style on this epic take off!!!
Gliding, happens. No surf spot wouldn’t be a surf spot unless it had the gliding days. For every big day (which this place see’s a lot of), you need some small waves to reflect on how fun surfing is, without always being in survival mode.
Dario, styling, with the only barrel of the day.
and yes, he made it out!
How fun was that session Oscar??? Remember to watch your feet amigo! Them pesky sting rays are around!
Alright my Tuesday surf fans. I want to thank the Anana’s Crew for helping me get, what I think was a pretty fun session to capture so I could deliver some surfing goodness to all of you fine people today. Hope you enjoyed! Chao for now ~
