As you can see, the winds were offshore, and cranking! Tide was on it’s way up but still super low.
There were still some decent rides to be had, you just had to be on the shoulder a bit and be light on your feet. Here’s one of the new Argentinian fellows who just moved to the area on a nice little right.
Here’s his buddy going for the left. Like I was saying, light on your feet, otherwise might come up with a broken board.
The man in black and white, Oliver Solis, with a Nicaraguan man fan.
Carlos, looking for the green room in the middle of the day with the scorching, Nicaraguan sun beaming down.
There were a few bigger waves coming in further down the beach with a few surfer out fighting the wind.
Local ripper from Gigante, flying high with a nice floater section.
If you’re only 5 feet tall like local shredder Oscar, waist high equals chest high rip-able walls.
If you compare the size of the boats in the background to the wave in the foreground, I think you could call it triple overhead. Maybe for the little bird in the corner. Well that’s it for today folks, check back with us tomorrow for another day of fun surf in Nicaragua. Adios amigos!
RECENT REPORTS
Hola amigos! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The tide was a bit lower by the time I got around to shooting today, so there was more action at mid-peak than the side-peaks. The wind was stronger today, but it was a little bigger today too.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops, once again we’re talking French Fries. The waves were smaller today, but the shape was arguably slightly better than yesterday. The wind was also a touch lighter.
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.
