Somewhere in Nicaragua

This has to be one of the best Decembers I have seen in over a decade. The consistency factor alone has just been unreal!

Just ask these two surf fanatics (John in the prior shot and Buzz here).

If I had to make just one deduction of perfection points for this very memorable December, the swell did dip a tad today… but only buy a hair! This kids flare though, alone, makes up for any kind of deduction points through and through, this well rounded slash-back!

Will and Grace, no not the TV show, Mr. Wills surfing here is nothing short of complete unique and excellent style!

Big John here, fancying himself some of todays playful last couple weeks of the month and end of 2021 waves.

And the girls still impressing the lineup with their dedication to the love of the sport, but everyone knows surfing is a lifestyle and not just an activity.

GOTTA give my little man, now all grown up a special Birthday shout out!!! Feliz cumpleaños amigo. ¿Fue como ayer cuando te conocí y tenías trece años o quizás más joven? Sin embargo, todavía no te creo cuando me dijiste que ahora tienes veinte años. ¡Eres una gran persona con un gran corazón y estoy feliz de poder llamarte uno de mis buenos amigos! Por tu día especial hermano

JG, cruising down easy street… well although we really don’t have streets here. We have rough and tough dirt roads, so watching John cross step his way along this little peeler made me realize how lucky we are despite not having big city like paved roads. Sweet style my friend!

The watchmen, this one here is Oscar. There’s A LOT that has gone into making some of our best surfers here certified and legitimate water patrol and safety watermen. If and when you see them, at the very least give them a proper muchísimas gracias for their hard work and dedication… and if you want to go the extra mile, you can always buy them a nice cold beverage, or leave em some of your swag (clothing, surf gear or anything to let them know how much they’re truly appreciated for making one of the best beaches here in Nicaragua that much more safe). They have remarkably made countless lifesaving rescues and they do this daily with very little pay, but do it because they’re pride for their home and their beach runs deep with a mountain size heart of passion and commitment from each of them.
