Welcome to the firing surf report for today from out here at Maderas. It's kind of fun because it looks like December will be the best month or one of the best for surfing in Nicaragua during this year. It's overhead on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is chilly. It's been raining a lot lately that kind of strange for this month but we are not complaining because we have good waves. Check out this shot of the lineup with a little bit of rain in the morning.

It was a bit hard to take this photos because it was raining but we took the umbrella out. Here is Carlos Caliente commanding the lineup, taking off one of the best set of the day.

Everybody was surfing pretty good today because everybody was having fun and exited for this swell. Even Pedro "El Cacaste" Flores was killing it. Can you believe it?
