Welcome to the Friday Nicaragua small surf report! Although it may be small during this time frame, one thing’s for sure, we keep it going even when the waves are at our lowest of lows. So dang it… come see how we handle small ‘round here.
It will take for even smaller surf to keep Nando out of the water.
Shimmering midday light on the crests of a couple of set waves…..
Here’s how todays winds were flowing, or in this case blowing. Hard n’ OFF SHORE!
Really hard. Matter a fact, getting into the waves were a bit of a burden.
This is Danai. She, much like Nando is a hard participant to persuade not to surf, despite the small size. Go Danai GOOO!!!!!
One of theee best things about the slower season besides the smaller surf. You get the entire lineup to yourself. In this case, they had the entire bay to themselves.

On a competitive surfing side-note, in case you were watching that UNREAL finals day going down at Pipe Masters yesterday…. Congratulations to Ítalo Ferreira for his pit bull and otherwise maniac surfing at the most anticipated surf contest of the year. WOW, what a day of professional surfing that went down. I highly recommend watching the replays of the heats if you’ve got time!
NOT quite as good as backdoor yesterday. But Nando has the SAME exact amount of people as JJ, or Kelly or Gabriel had in a lineup with them which was on a nice and sunny day.
Keep up the good work out there girlie! Maybe I’ll see you both out there again mañana??? 🙂
