Every surfer knows (OR SHOULD KNOW) that the person sitting deeper inside (or closer to the breaking park of the the wave) always has the priority to go on said wave. Everyone who surfs also knows that feeling when you’ve been sitting for a while, waiting for a good wave to come to you and the one person who’s sitting deeper and the wave comes to them and they take off and you so badly want to paddle for it anyways….. ugh, well, you all know what I’m talking about. But it is what it is.And if you’re a good surfer who respects the rules, the karma comes right back to you, eventually.
