Welcome back for the Monday surf report chicos! It was another gorgeous day up at the reef. Like I said yesterday… it’s migration season. But not in a bad way. Let’s check out and see how nice it was this afternoon, shall we?
Ernan always giving you, me, all us appreciative daily viewers something nice to check out with each wave he surfs.
Not to mention that if you don’t know him personally, he’s probably one of the chillest most coolest dude’s you could ever meet. Yeah buddy!!!!!
One of the only locals out tonight (he was actually out and in yesterdays report as well), but today I finally got a chance to rap out on the beach with him and not only caught his name, which is Elyin “AKA – Pro” Guzman,…..
But I’m pretty sure he earned his nickname “Pro” from all his buddies because he RIPS!!!
Ara, another local who is actually really good friends and vecinos with none-other than our infamous El Jefe Seńor “Pancho” McMandon.
Here he is trying to impersonate Kelly Slater & Rob Machado that one famous day out at the finals at Pipe many years back.
There were a few good lefts, but I think the rights were just a tad better today.
Here’s Elyin on yet another sick right.
He’s got style, flair and super humble and really nice outside the water which is a really good combo if you want to take your surfing career far these days!
Ohhhh, I almost forgot to mention…. sorry ladies, but he’s occupied. Here’s his gal surfer Savanna (ripping as well)! They could very well be our next surfing power couple??? Who knows.

Well…. you all know what’s right around the corner here… yes a nice Christmas swell, but it’s also time to start thinking about or preparing your plans for your Christmas FEAST! Hola and Happy Saturday surfistas!!! Just another day in paradise. Warm breezes combined with smaller 2-3 foot surf (2 being the more average) out there. It’s always a good time at the beach on the weekends!
