Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Twenty Tuesday! That’s right folks, this months flying right on by. Hope you have your Holiday festivities in order, just went to the market recently (here’ the biggest city with stores is out 35-40 min away) and it reminded me of how crazy it always was back in the EEUU. Of course it’s a bit different shopping around any towns now these days, masks, distance standing signs, glass barriers between cashiers. all things might be a bit of a nuisance, but that’s exactly why we’re here….. to let you set your mind free for a minute or maybe a little longer if you actually read my goofy captions, anyhow, here’s to todays happy make you feel good surf shots! (p.s. be sure to read all the way through todays report…. there’s a new litle surprise idea in the works and you might just wanna jump on in and play! – Keep reading to see what I’m talking about. 🙂
Sooooo with all that being said, right now, raise you hand (doesn’t matter) where ever you might be reading this right now and say YES, I’d take this empty wave that nobodies even going to be able to catch vs standing in some line at some store with all that mumbo jumbo I mentioned earlier???? I swear on Santa Clause, my right hand is erect like I’m being sworn in at a court right now. or giving an oath or something…. Hahahaha!
I bet you didn’t even know that Nicaragua has UBER, did you?!?! Our’s is a little rustic though, but I bet our scenery is a bit more picturesque from point A to point B.
We had a little bit of some shred-a-thon rivalry going on today, but hey, I’m always up for some competitiveness if it equates to some stellar surf shots!
I think it’s safe to say that we can all agree, filmers, photogs, or even just your regular spectator enjoys seeing some good old fashioned stlylish surfing on any given day!
It was quickly reaching that low light danger zone for sharp tac images, but I think the speed blurs were a fun and added effect to the schrapling that was going down tonight.
Santiago ALWAYS stoked no matter were he’s at!!!!!
Our other talented foto guy, Señor Russle who’s been packing on some pretty nice surf and volleyball muscle was out there killing it on his favorite go to board big or small.
He’s been packing some pretty sick heavy days on a few short boards earlier this season, that was before the PC tax man came and made him pay his 2020 tax season dues. I personally miss seeing him do his signature hand stands!
Surfing, skating, snowboarding, when you think about it, we’re all chasing after one uniquely similar thing. Jump on board (or in this case one of those kinds of three boards) and you’ll see. Our main and particular focus of this website has always been based solely around surfing and the surfing lifestyle… but I’ve posted a few other alternative boarding action type activities before in the past. Maybe it’s time while its slow to highlight some of our other family members (aka Fans) of the other board aficionados as well…. ya know like for fun! (PS. the snow ones might be a little harder to get here duh, since it doesn’t snow…. but I just had an idea since we’re all sorta land locked and I’m always a fan of trying new and different things.SO – here goes my idea. anyone (if you feel free to play along) send me a photo of you doing whatever board sport you prefer and please add a little caption with your photo, mainly your name, where you’re from and I’m hoping this could also include surfers or any kind of board riders who’ve already been to Nicaragua and follow our website religiously (or not?) to maybe say what you miss most about not tbeing able to come to Nicaragua while the world is all sorts of cray cray right now…. it’s up to you. But if you guys and gals are into trying out a fun new little game with me while times right now are a bit sporadic, feel free to send me a photo of you doing YOU on whatever board of your choice, and I’ll pick one person for each report I do and hopefully we can see some new friendly faces from around the globe.So let’s unite this place up… what do ya say??? Are you in??? If I had to end my “Friday” surf report, because today is like my Friday since I’ll be off for the next 2 days I wish this photo to be the last image of mine that you’ll see until you catch up with tomorrows Humo day report with Mr. Baldo. Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.

Happy Sunday Funday everybody! It was another great day down at the beach. A little itsy bitsy tiny bump in swell too. Come on!
Hola fanáticos del surf! Todays surf was a tad smaller. I guess I could use the old adage of surf lore sayings and say… “well, you should have been here yesterday”, but in reality, there’s always something fun to ride here in Nica-Land. It just might be better some days than others.
Happy TGIF Everybody!!! Guess what came a little early today….??? That’s right, our annual Christmas swell arrived a little early today and the lucky few who knew, were on it!! Check it out.
