Today we are going to start with the first surfer that was out when we first got to the beach. This is Sam dropping on one of the bigger set waves of the day.
We went early to the beach, so a few guys didn’t have enough time to eat breakfast. This was one of them. That one looks pretty big for Christian but that’s how he likes them!!!
On this shot we have our very good friend Bob from Canada, he was catching a couple of fun waves. Check him out riding this small but fun right hander. He hasn’t surf so much but it seems like he is starting to pick it up now, don’t give up my friend!!
Here we have this cool shot of Codo and La Changoleona, just seconds away from fun. They are super happy to be together for Holydays.
La Changoleona was showing us a little bit of her surfing skills. Here she is riding a nice right hander all the way in to the beach.
Codo was able to scored some good surf as well. Check him out hand dragging a sweet wave. That’s La Chango on the bottom of this wave, about to duck dive.
After eaten 12 plantains, Christian made it out and picked up some real nice ones. Here he is looking good with his private water photographer. Hey man, I am going to get you some Yucca tomorrow, so you might get full quicker.
Before we finished the report for today we want to post a couple of these cool photos from yesterday afternoon. This year Lucha’s family joined efforts with NSR and Nelson Wells to give away over 140 toys at some of the poorest communities around San Juan del Surf. We had a sweet piñata party before everybody jump on the toys and candies. Here are the kids having a blast!!!
The Pinata was totally broke so we proceed to give away toys, drinks and candies to the kids. They were so stoked to get these presents for Navidad, right when they saw the cars, dolls, water guns, motorcycles and many other things their eyes shine like big stars and that make us happy too.
Lucha was all smiles, sharing this moment with the kids. Next time we are thinking to give some shoes away because as you can see on this shot, they all were on barefoot.
A few kids luckily got some clothes and they were so grateful with us. Check out this little kid posing for the camera to immortalize this moment for ever.
