Somewhere in Nicaragua

Offshores were howling this afternoon!

The local Holiday “grind crew” were out there free surfing like they would any other day. Except today they had some stockings full of Christmas Joy! and some airs too!

December and as for swell… well, there was definitely some waves to be had.

I have a hard time telling Oscar and his brother Angel apart, they look a lot alike. They are also both regular footers, so it makes even more tricky, unless I’m up close. Oscar or Angel ripping today!!!

The high tide that’s been on the rise later and later in the afternoon was making for some interestingly looking take offs! The light was pretty epic too!

Not too sure this is going to end so well??? Should of went for the massive floater over that huge section! Quite possibly could have made the cover of SUP magazine! Oh well, next time!

If you guessed something along the lines of this… you were correct. Not to mention he was throwing these down all session long and sticking I’d say about 95% of them all.

Ok, so back to the warmer shredding on water, the thawed out kind that is. Roger here taking full advantage of some beautiful water and some epic December waves on one of the best Holidays (IMHO) of the year.
