When you’re lurking kinda on your way out to the paddle out, like this grom is, it usually means one really good thing.
You see this….. and you definitely can’t wait to get out to the lineup quick enough.
Like I said. This was less than 5 min after paddling right out.
As mentioned, I wanted to see how the PM surf looked as apposed to when I checked it much earlier. The reef was certainly showing some increase in size already.
The Beachie, well, let’s just say it’s welll over head in this shot; so I’m thinking (hoping) tomorrow will be firing and we truly get that Xmas / New Years swell we always love to get when it comes in late December.
Tony Z with his pedal to the metal, well, more like footy to the foam…. but either way, he’s cooking down the line looking for some tube time!
If this is a pre-cursor to tomorrows surf, then there are going to be a handful of really super stoked surfers who are really fortunate to be here right now, especially for the Holiday Weekend.
Met these two nice young ladies visiting from the city up north taking a little mini Holiday away from all the hustle and bustle from the concrete life. Bienvenido Youska y Linda!
If there were ever to be a chance of snow in Nicaragua, I will have to admit that I’ve seen more snowballs here than anywhere else in the world! Wow, that thing looks like it was going to be a pretty mental barrel too…. sorry little grom!
From a surfers perspective, this is about as good as a sunset can get in place where the daily sunsets you watch just so happens to backdrop a wave that breaks like the Kelly Slater wave pool. But in real life.
Hope you all had an amazing day and most definitely check back in mañana to see whether or not that swell kicked into to higher gear or not???? That is going to be the big question for Saturday. Chao for Now ~
