Howdy and welcome back for the last Monday of the year 2022! This time next week, you will all have already brought int the new year AND hopefully with a BANG!!!! Hopefully with a new banger swell, like the one we’re currently receiving right now! Waves were good from sun up to sun down – it actually got bigger as the day progressed into the sunset time! Caught the tide draining quickly this morning right around medium or a little below that. Check out this this guy pulling into this crystal clear inside bowl at the reef! (You can see some of the boils in the foreground too if you look real close)!
Epic conditions for everyone who’s here to celebrate their tropical holiday season! This unknown kid on the fun mini log was catching a brunch of waves, having a super fun time!!!
Sophie padding hard to make sure she can get into this super nuclear aqua green bomb that’s about to detonate on her back!!!
So like I mentioned, the surf was incredible all day, so I shot a couple times today. I am still offloading from tonights afternoon/evening session and it was well over head and definitely double the size of this wave here. So we know we’re getting it really good right now!
There were even the mini gremmie tad poles on the inside looking for the coverups.

This dude rode it out like a PRO and stuck this end section, closeout, off the lip bash, like he owned the place!!!! Yeah Champ!!!!
Drained out and time to get some brekkie, coffee/juice, rehydrate and get ready for maybe 3 or 4 sessions for todays epic waves!!!!

It’s Christmas weekend and the gifts just keep coming for us lucky enough to be here in Nica. Late December and it’s 80 degrees sun is shining and we got some tasty waves with 5 or 6 people in the lineup. Stoked!
