Well overhead sets with long tapering walls to do “your’e thing on” them big open canvases!
Scott, coming into the inside section of a bomb he caught way out the back. He must have had about 5 or 6 turns before this one…. I chose this particular one since it was more close ups as the outside take off is super far out there, plus he reminded me of another big fella and friend of mine, Pancho Sullivan, carving up a similarly shaped wave called Sunset.
Jason making this inside closeout section his Beeeee-otch! But seriously, that’s one heck of a maneuver in a pretty gnarly critical place to huck yourself into. Bien hecho hermano!
A lot of water moving around out there today. This unknown dude, taking his firewire to places today, I’m sure aren’t quite the same as back home.
My highlights selection may look like a bunch of closeout shots, but believe me, out of the 1500+ shots in sequences I have from the whole time shooting, there was all kinds of sick turns, airs and carving up the faces of each and every wave I caught with my camera today.
Like this one here. Sick turn buddy!
And this hombre as well. Nice surfing out there this morning, and thanks for the awesome content!
Jason already rocking the full suit. You might think it looks abnormal, but believe me when I say being here, especially all of your life, like Jason, you get really acclimated and even the slightest temperature drops in the water makes for a pretty short and very uncomfortable surf session. This (most likely) 2mm full suit, which isn’t really even that much rubber can let him surf out there for a couple hours, as opposed to just 30 min before coming in freezing.
Nice surf family here on holiday vacation, but not just any vacation… a family surf vacation; to one of the best places to be on the planet right now!Dale pues chicos ~Remember, even if you didn’t make the highlights you can always look at the link here for all theDaily Surf Shotsfrom each day, there might be a good chance you’re in there!AND don’t forget to follow us and always check out our current happenings on our daily Instagram stories hereNSRor my photography hereNica Surf Shots
RECENT REPORTS
Hi everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell is probably slightly larger today, but it is also much windier.
