We had a little cloud cover this morning and surprisingly some scattered showers. The weather doesn’t really bother the most of the surfers here though, check out Chocoyo looking for some extra shade on this little nugget.
A few ramps coming together, letting Oscar try out his areal abilities.
A couple international surfers mixing it up in the lineup as well this morning. Getting low on a speedy, little right-hander.
You could get better at surfing just by sitting back and watching the locals. Getting dialed in on a sweet backside barrel.
Nica ledges breaking off in the distance with no one around.
Plenty of fun peaks coming in all morning. Check out Oscar getting lucky and sliding into one of the morning gems.
Donnie boy, from Virginia finally getting the hang of the waves here on his last few days of his trip. I think after surfing in Nicaragua, he’ll be back next year!
Not bad for the last day of the year. That’s it for today folks, hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year. We’ll see you guys next year! Adios amigos.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Colorados. It was a bit of a “stand-up contest” this evening, but the power should return tomorrow. Still surfable, but we are suffering from the recency bias haha.
Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hey folks, It is Lucha Libre here with the last report for this 2011. This morning we went to Playa Maderas to see what was going on there. We found some fun and nice little waves rolling in, the winds were a little strong offshore and the lineup was a little busy. Check out the lineup!
