The last day of the year! Today the waves were small and it was windy (again), and most of the surfers in the area were resting and saving their energy for tonight.

At Santana the whole beach was open for this guy, the only surfer in the water... when was the last time you were by yourself in the water?

When you are surfing by yourself you don't feel (that) bad when you miss a good wave, because you can just wait for the next good one and take it.

The beach was perfect to just lay on the sand and play with the kids... the (second) best way to spend the last day of the year, right?
