Hello everybody and Happy New Years!! We hope your 2016 ended well and 2017 is off to a good start. This is Parker signing in to show you guys some morning action. Check it out primos!
Last night was a great night in the Tola area. There was a great party at Pili’s and a rager at Mag Rock. Additionally, there is a minor bump to send some fresh waves.
Annnddddd nobody was out this morning! John and Mark went for a quick surf got out abnormally early. I happily stepped up to the plate to enjoy fun offseason waves.
Or maybe the party got them last night? Pili had about 200 people dancing, having drinks, hanging out, and watching the fireworks all night. I already can’t wait for New Year’s next year!!
I think there were a few casualties for the morning and midday session. Those shady hammocks in the breeze do look awfully appealing…
We hope you guys had a fun time, had a few cocktails, and enjoyed some fireworks. Please be responsible and respectful of your local beach and do your part. Hacienda Iguana, thank you for having the gardeners work on Sunday to make sure everything is clean, normal, and beautiful!
Since nobody wanted to surf a fun empty beach break, I hopped on my moto to check out the other spot. Let’s see if somebody wants to enjoy the rights on tap…
Silly question… The CSO of the EMHEC is always on it! He’s probably the most dedicated surfer at this spot.
The pulse has a touch of long interval so Roger enjoyed this wave all the way to the beach. Roger, safe travels back to Texas and see you in a month hombre!
Look at the wave’s lip- there was zero wind this morning. Well, there’s always a touch of offshore wind here, but it was really calm. During the day, there were patches of harder gusts but it stayed pretty light offshore today.
What else do you have going on today? Go for a surf, watch another beautiful sunset, eat a delicious dinner? Not a bad holiday for our standards.

Hola amigos! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The tide was a bit lower by the time I got around to shooting today, so there was more action at mid-peak than the side-peaks. The wind was stronger today, but it was a little bigger today too.

Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.
