The surf was in the waist to occasionally bigger set come through. A few good surfers out making the most of it.
This guy has a nice casual style, looks like he should be fun to watch once the surf turns on.
Nick making the most of his last few days before heading back up state side.
This was the wave of the morning from what I saw. He caught a bit of cover and found an exit.
After the exit he ripped a nice cutback. Nice wave buddy.
Marie also picked off quite a few great waves. Here she is on a nice left runner.
Surfing smaller waves takes a lot more effort, this guy was able to generate a good amount of speed and get his board moving.
Rounding out the report is Jamie, riding a bit more foam and connecting the sections. The longer period (18 – 21 seconds) is supposed to start to fill tomorrow. Expect some long right walls, hopefully not too much of a close out.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
This little dude showed some great speed and style on this top-turn! Unfortunately he took this wave in just as I arrived to shoot. I bet he would’ve come in runner-up behind our chica shredder had he stayed out!
